Leaderboard 2023 Turkey Contest
Prizes will be awarded for the longest beard and longest spur – See Wild Turkey Contest Rules
Ontario’s Spring Wild Turkey Season beginning April 25, 2023 until May 31, 2023.
Cash prizes based on 70% of registration fees
Participants will be required to submit photos of beard, spur and successful hunter with their harvest as described in the Wild Turkey Contest Rules.

Registrations fees
Youth: $20.00 (UNDER 18)
Adults: $30.00
Registration: Registration and payment must be received before the season begins
ONLINE
Complete the registration form found at Turkey Registration Form. Email registration form and etransfer to info@sjiha.ca. In the etransfer please indicate in the message box who the entry fee(s) are for.
IN PERSON
By picking up registration forms at the following locations;
- Great Lakes Outfitters, SSM
- 17 E Trading Post, 6999 Hwy 17E
Registration and payment will be accepted at the Hunters and Anglers Conservation Centre at the St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers General Meeting at 7:30 PM on April 13th or on April 23rd from 10 am until 4:00 p.m.
Registration including payments received by April 16th have a chance to win your individual entry fee back by a random draw.
Eligibility: Eastern Wild turkeys harvested legally in 2023, in Wildlife Management Units 45 (St. Joseph Island) and 36 (North Shore)
Presentation of prizes on Saturday, June 3rd at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Light refreshments provided.
Prizes: In additions to cash prizes, mystery prizes will also be awarded.
