Request for input on how the moose hunt should be managed:

This message was received from Taylor Scarr who attended the Big Game Advisory Committee open house meeting on May 28th, in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Big Game Advisory Committee has been struck by the Minister to make recommendations on how to overhaul the tag allocation system and other ways (e.g., season length, party hunting) of managing the moose hunt. There was an open house May 28, in Sault Ste. Marie, at which the public could talk one-on-one with members of the Committee. The questionnaire in the attached link was available in hardcopy at the May 28 open house in Sault Ste. Marie.  Anyone who wishes to have input into the Committee’s deliberations can use the questionnaire to get an idea of what options are being considered and to provide their views on those options.
