FIFTH ANNUAL ISLAND FISHING DERBY June 30th to July 8th

This derby coincides with the Free Fishing Week in Ontario: June 30, to July 8, 2018. It is a multi-species fish derby from waters that touch St. Joseph Island. Registration begins at noon on June 30, at the St. Joseph Island Conservation Centre. Be sure to print and complete your pre-registration forms. PRE-REGISTRATION FORM.
Details of derby follow:
Registration: Registration and payment will be at the Hunters and Anglers Conservation Centre on Friday, June 29th from 12 Noon until 8:00 p.m. or on Saturday, June 30th from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon; includes meal at Awards presentations
Children: $20.00 (NEW: 15 AND UNDER) Adults: $50.00
Location: Ontario waters in contact with St. Joseph Island including waters from Bar River to Thessalon
Species: Bass/Pike/Perch/Pickerel/Salmon (includes Trout) and Lake Herring (Cisco)
Prizes: Will be awarded for the longest fish in each category based on a photo (MEASURING DEVICE DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED AT REGISTRATION) Additional mystery prizes will be revealed during presentations.
