PROVINCIAL ONLINE HARVEST REPORTING Now Available

There is now an online method of reporting harvest.  This is the link to the Provincial Online Harvest site: https://www2.on.wildlifelicense.com/start.php?lang=1. Online reporting is found to be much more convenient than completing and mailing in the postcards. The online survey literally takes only few minutes, and the reports play a valuable role in MNRF’s harvest planning.  The online MNRF site is the single access to many services offered by the MNRF.

Please note that trail cam observations are not to be included in harvest reporting.

RESULTS OF THE 2017 PHOTO CONTEST

The Annual Community Christmas Potluck and Photo Contest was a well-attended and fun event.  The dinner contributions were varied and tasty.  This year, the photos submitted to the contest were of high quality, but there were fewer submissions than in past years.  The winners of the photo contest, as selected by the dinner crowd, are listed below:

Animal Category:                            Judy Ingram

Trail Camera Category:                 John Paterson

Scenery Category:                          Judy Ingram

Fishing Category:                           Wayne Ingram

Video Category:                              Teresa Caughill

Be sure to see the winning photos the next time you are at the Conservation Centre.  They have a place of honour on the wall until the 2018 contest.

Thanks to all who contributed, dinner, photos and games.  It was great fun to share the evening with everyone there.
