Following the success of last year’s winter “replenishment” stocking in Hart, Tower, and Paquette Lakes. I’m pleased to let you know that we have continued with this strategy and will do so moving forward. The response last year was really great and I’m hoping to hear positive things again this year. I want to let you know that we stocked these lakes yesterday, so please feel free to get the word out! Great opportunity to get kids out and into some fish!
As mentioned previously, this strategy focuses on easily accessible splake lakes in an effort to create high-quality, late season fishing opportunities (with a special emphasis on opportunities for kids). These fish are a catchable size of approximately 450g (or 1 pound). Approximately 1000 splake were spread across these 3 lakes.
