11th Annual Island Fishing Derby
Location: Ontario waters in contact with St. Joseph Island including waters in contact with the north shore from Bar River to Thessalon
Date: Runs from 6:00 am June 29, 2024 to noon July 7th, 2024
Children: $20.00 (15 and under)
Adults: $50.00
Registration and Payment: Cash, Cheque or etransfer accepted
Register in person at the Hunters and Anglers Conservation Centre 1802 20th Sideroad, St. Joseph Island on Friday, June 28th from 12 Noon until 8:00 p.m. or on Saturday, June 29 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon; or by contacting John or Kevin at the phone number listed below. The entry fee also includes meal at Awards presentations.

If you have registered on line you will need to contact John or Kevin at the phone numbers listed below for a derby ruler to be used in all pictures for any fish to be entered in the 2024 derby.

Meal & Prizes: Sunday, July 7th at 4:00 p.m.
Cash payout: 70% of registration with separate cash prizes for children and adults based on participation
Categories: Bass/Pike/Perch/Pickerel/Salmon (includes Trout) and Lake Herring (Cisco)
Prizes: Cash prizes will be awarded for the longest fish in each category based on a photo (MEASURING DEVICE AND DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED AT REGISTRATION) mystery prizes for fish caught will also be awarded.
