Wild Turkey Workshop

ST. JOSEPH ISLAND HUNTERS AND ANGLERS’ ASSOCIATION is once again offering a Wild Turkey hunting workshop at our Conservation Centre at 1802 20th Sideroad, St. Joseph Island from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, April 23rd, 2022. Learn techniques and get tips for a successful and safe Wild Turkey hunt.

The workshop will cover Wild Turkey biology and behavior, identification, hunting strategies and techniques, calling, equipment, field dressing, cooking, and trophy preparation. There will be interactive indoor and outdoor sessions. The workshop will close with a calling session for novices with prizes for the best callers!

Instructors Kevin Coombs, Taylor Scarr, and Larry Skinkle are former OFAH Wild Turkey Hunting course instructors, each with more than 20 years experience turkey hunting and represent Quaker Boy and Rack Stacker as pro staff.

IN PERSON

Attend the St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers General Meeting at 7:30 PM on April 14th, 2022, at the Conservation Centre, 1802 20th Sideroad, St. Joseph Island.

PAYMENT

Cost is $50 per person with lunch provided (Chili)
